The Housing Limited Development Group (HLDG) provides financing for new single-family developments through low-interest loans to developers and secondary mortgage assistance directly to qualified low income buyers. Because of the high level of foreclosures in recent years, the number of new, affordable single-family homes being constructed and sold are extremely limited. However, the HLDG continues to provide assistance directly to buyers.
